Tutor Intelligence raises $75M Series B led by Andreessen Horowitz

Tutor Intelligence, a Watertown, Mass. robotics company founded in 2021 out of MIT CSAIL by Josh Gruenstein and Alon Kosowsky-Sachs, raised $75 million in Series B funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, announced 2 November, according to the company's release and a16z. USV and Neo, which led the Series A and seed, also took part. The company says it has raised $117 million in total.

Tutor says its robots, remote-assisted by human "tutors", are sold by the hour or by the pick with no upfront purchase, and that they are in almost 4x as many facilities as a year ago. These are the company's own claims.
